United Soybean Board (USB) Application Process

ND Soybean Council Seeks Soybean Farmers Interested in United Soybean Board Nomination

North Dakota soybean producers are represented on the national United Soybean Board by four North Dakota farmer-leaders. The North Dakota Soybean Council is seeking farmers to fill one of North Dakota’s director positions on the United Soybean Board. This Board oversees national soy checkoff investments to maximize profit opportunities for U.S. soybean farmers.

 

All checkoff paying soybean producers in North Dakota are eligible to apply.

 

To be considered for the national leadership positions, farmers must complete the required nomination form, Form AD 755, and “Agreement to Serve” statement and submit both to the NDSC office by or before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021.

 

This position is open to all individuals without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital or family status, political beliefs, parental status, or protected genetic information.

 

The farmer-directors of USB oversee the investments of the soy checkoff to maximize profit opportunities for all U.S. soybean farmers. For more information about USB, visit their website at unitedsoybean.org.

Email both completed forms to NDSC Executive Director Stephanie Sinner at ssinner@ndsoybean.org by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021.  All nominees will be required to participate in an interview with the NDSC Executive Committee.  Interview dates are tentatively set for March 25 & 26  Nominees who submit paperwork by March 19, 2021, will be notified of interview date and time.
