Executive Women in Agriculture Conference

The North Dakota Soybean Council (NDSC) is offering scholarships for two North Dakota women who are actively engaged in farm management and production of soybeans. Each scholarship will help cover costs of registration, air fare and hotel fees up to $2,500 for each selected recipient.

 

To apply, complete and submit an online scholarship application by 4:00 p.m., Friday November 29, 2019. All applications received by the deadline will be competitively scored by NDSC. NDSC will have complete discretion over participant selection for the scholarships.

Connect with women in agriculture who are making a difference. Share ideas with women who make up more than 30% of farm operators serving in diverse areas such as human resources, financial reporting, record keeping, as well as production and technology. You’ll leave inspired and energized to take what you’ve learned and implement it into your own farm business.

Deadline: Friday, Nov. 29 by 4:00 p.m.

*Not eligible if you have previously attended EWA.

A producer is defined as: “any person that plants or causes to be planted a soybean crop in which the person has an ownership interest, with intent that upon maturity, the crop will be harvested; will have met the requirements of the above stated during the next available growing season or has met these requirements during the immediately preceding growing season. The term does not include an organic producer that has been exempted from the payment of assessments in accordance with federal law.”
